About Me
Hi, my name is Madison but most people call me Madi. I am 26 and in love with helping families to better connect with God, themselves, and others in meaningful ways. I was very fortunate to be raised in a loving Christian family. I was strongly influenced by the many people in my family with an affinity for childcare and saw an exciting future ahead of me doing the same. I was very little when I started helping moms entertain their kids after church, 12 when I started working as a mother’s helper and 13 when I started working as a babysitter and nanny. After many years of childcare, I started my work as a Childbirth and Postpartum Doula in 2018 and became certified as a life coach in 2024. All of these moments have led to my dream job of educating and supporting families through every stage.
I have combined my many years of varied childcare and doula experience, child development courses, life coach certification, my personal studies into the science and heart of family life, and my devotion as a child of God to provide you with services for every stage of your family’s journey. My prayer and earnest desire is to help parents and future parents to find connection, growth, and confidence in the path set before them, even if they do not know exactly what their future will look like.
Why Golden Gazes?
If you are wondering why I chose the name Golden Gazes, it is because I believe that God gives us the ability to focus our eyes on what matters most. Just as the Psalmist describes his eyes being like a dove, we can train our eyes to see what matters most. God has shown us what those things are, to “love God with all your heart” and to “love one another as you love yourself.” We often think of this scripture in our personal lives or in how we treat strangers, but forget how that translates to our relationship with our family members. By learning through a faith-filled lens, we can train our eyes to see the heavenly/golden things of life. Do so helps God to transform us to be who He knows we can be. Children who earnestly seek our Father, spouses who love like Christ and the church, and parents who disciple their children with the character and love that Jesus had for his disciples.
My aim is to help you make informed decisions in your family life that consider science, emotional health, while also including knowledge of the word of God. This is a safe place for Christians to grow, heal, learn and connect.
